The civil war that ravaged Liberia for fourteen years caused a complete collapse of the country’s physical infrastructure. Even more devastating was the collapse of Liberia’s organizational infrastructure, including its educational system. As a result, Liberian children (even those in the best schools) trail behind their counterparts around the world with regard to education. 

The Cyber-Ed Christian School of Excellence was founded in 2012 by Soni Karnga Williams as a homeschool, in an effort to provide quality education for children in Liberia. CCS was expanded to a private international school in September of 2015. Today, CCS is creating Liberian scholars who can successfully compete with students around the world and excel beyond their wildest dreams.
